The paperwork trade businesses do by hand
We build systems that draft the documents each trade writes again and again, on its own rules, for a person to check. If your team does one of them by hand more than once a month, a system can do the first pass, and a person checks it.
Trade by trade
-
Electrical
Test certificates, minor works certificates and quotes. Each one repeats details that are already on the job: the client, the address, the date and the engineer.
-
Mechanical and HVAC
Commissioning sheets, service reports and O&M packs. At handover, the pack is put together by hand from documents that already exist.
-
Building services
O&M manuals, handover packs and variation orders. At the end of every job, someone gathers the same kinds of document into the same order.
-
Groundworks
RAMS, permits, daywork sheets and muckaway tickets. The sheets and tickets come back from site and are typed up in the office.
-
Fit-out
Quotes, snagging lists and handover packs. Snags are listed, chased and closed out by hand, then gathered into the pack.
-
Maintenance and FM contractors
Job sheets, service reports and a monthly report for each client. The report is built by hand from the job sheets every month.
Not listed? The document matters more than the trade. The sectors page covers more trades, or book the 10-minute call and tell us what the document is.

10 minutes. You tell me the document that eats your evenings. You leave knowing whether it fits and roughly what it would cost.
