# Social posts

Posts for the company account and your own, drafted in your voice on a schedule you set, and posted once a person has approved them.

Social posts is a small system that drafts posts in your voice from real jobs, for a person to approve. The company keeps posting without you finding the time. Posting regularly is on the list. It has been on the list for a long time.

## The problem

Everyone agrees the company should post more often. Nobody has time to write a post, find a picture, and remember to put it up, so it happens in bursts after a good job and then not at all. The personal account is worse, because it is nobody's job.

## What it does

On the schedule you set, a post is drafted in your voice from something real: a job finished, a question a client asked, a thing that went wrong and how it was fixed. It goes to a person for approval. Once approved, it is posted to the accounts you choose, company and personal, at the time you choose. Nothing goes up that a person has not read.

## What it needs from you

A steady supply of raw material: a line about what happened this week, a photo if there is one. Your own past posts, the ones you were happy with, so the voice is yours. Access to the accounts, arranged so that you can withdraw it. And an honest decision about how often you can approve a post, because a schedule you cannot keep is worse than none.

## What it does not do

It does not post without approval. It does not make things up: a post with no real material behind it is not written. It does not reply to comments or messages. It does not know a client would rather not be named, so the person approving still checks names and photos. The first weeks will need more editing than the ones after.
